Microgaming runs an online poker network, known as The MPN. It was formerly known as Prima Poker or the Microgaming Poker Network. Its software allows players to play multiplayer poker games such as Texas hold 'em and five and seven card stud poker against real people in real-time. The MPN was the first online poker network to offer Anonymous. The Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) has been around for the best part of 10 years and at one point back in 2005 was one of the top poker networks in Europe. Back then it was known as the Prima network and was the first home of high stakes cash games, featuring the likes of Johnny “badip” Lodden and Patrik Antonius among others.
Microgaming Skins Still Operating – Last Updated February 2021
During it’s peak times when it was still open to players in the United States, the Microgaming network had seemingly endless numbers of skins. However, after it left the US market, it lost a large number of their big partners including a large number of US friendly sportsbook operators. More recently it has lost two of it’s biggest partners – Ladbrokes and Unibet who have both chosen to leave MPN for pastures new.
The network is now made up of less than 30 different sites, all of which are listed in the table below. My rankings are based on a number of factors. These include safety and security, speed and reliability of cashouts, reputation in the industry, customer support and overall levels of trust associated with the company. Sites I have marked as n/a are ones where I have not played yet, though I am in the process of signing up and playing there. A small selection of others are restricted to specific countries, with ring-fenced player pools. I’m based elsewhere in Europe, so unfortunately cannot provide an accurate review or rating of those sites at this moment in time.

Microgaming Poker Rake
A Network with Many Intertwined Sites and Connections to Casino Operators
To most people the above table may seem to be a long list on unconnected sites. However, many of these sites are closely related to each other or are owned by the same company. For example, the Bettson Group own Betsson, Nordic Bet and Trio Bet.
PokerRewards and GoldenTigerPoker are both owned by the Rewards Casino Group.
Poker Time are part of the Fortune Casino Group who previously ran RoyalVegas Poker.
Similarly, Betway and GNUF are related to the Wagershare casino group who previously operated Spin Palace Poker.
Last but not least, Cool Hand Poker are part of the Referback Group who also run a large number of online casinos. If you know of any more relationships between MPN skins, fire me an email via the contact us page.

Today, the history of the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) came to an end. As expected, most of its poker rooms migrated to iPoker Network. In this article, we share detailed information about the new deals on our site for rooms that have switched networks.
Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) no longer exists
Online games play for real money. On May 19, 2020, an important chapter in the history of online poker ended. MPN announced its closure eight months ago, and the process ended yesterday in the best possible way for players, and even all jackpots were returned to players.
Yesterday, the following message was posted on the official Twitter profile of the network:
We want to highlight the professionalism of how Microgaming handled the entire process.
New deals on iPoker Network
Most MPN rooms decided to migrate to iPoker Network. Unfortunately, some gaming companies followed the path of Microgaming and closed their rooms, for example, the British site 32 Red.
From May 19, 2020, the largest MPN skins will continue to operate on iPoker Network. These include two rooms with the best rakeback deals for our players: RedStar Poker and Guts Poker.

Playtech also signed deals with the Betsson Group, a holding of three poker sites that serve Northern European countries.
New Guts Poker rakeback deal for WPD players:
- 100% first deposit bonus up to €1,000 which gives 30% rakeback;
- Direct access to the highest level of the loyalty program with a fixed 30% rakeback;
- Reload bonuses up to €500, giving 10% rakeback;
- Private monthly rake races with €30k in prizes.
Microgaming Poker Sites
During the wagering time of the first deposit bonus, the total rakeback will be 50%+, and after that, the average will be 40%+.
New RedStar Poker rakeback deal for WPD players:
Microgaming Poker Closing

- 200% first deposit bonus up to €2,000, available to all players in the room, giving 10% rakeback;
- Upgrade to the highest level of the VIP program that gives 35% fixed rakeback. Important note! Players must exchange points themselves; all unused points will be burned at the end of the month;
- Reload bonuses up to €300, giving 5% rakeback.
The total rakeback during the wagering time of theFDB will be 45%+, and after that, it will decrease to 40%+.
Is iPoker ready for the traffic boost?
iPoker Network has long been close to the TOP10 of poker sites in traffic. Now, in the first few hours after the merger, the traffic increased from 1,900 to 2,300 players. Playtech has surely adapted its servers and platforms, such as the influx of traffic.
Of course, only after a few weeks traffic will stabilize, and let's not forget that in June the network will welcome two big sites: BestPoker and Optibet Poker. Therefore, in 2020 iPoker will go toe-to-toe with Winning Poker Network and even partypoker.
